Home from Home is an ambitious project designed to promote excellence in the sector. It is rooted in innovation, exploration and collaboration. The project is a collaboration with Encore East, Damn Fine Dance and The Place Dancers under creative direction by Luca Silvestrini (Protein Dance). The project is also supported by DanceEast, Norwich Theatre and The Place. Home from Home will involve over 50 dancers. Under the overall direction of Luca, each of the four companies will create a new short work. These four pieces will be combined to create a new full-length work which will be performed in all companies’ home venues in Ipswich, Norwich and London.
